1960s

Established in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, to design electric control units and conduct research and development of applied products.

1970s

Moved the head office to Takatsu-ku, Kawasaki-shi (currently Miyamae-ku).

Launched an adjustable-speed DC motor control driver (NIKKI POWER PACK NPJ model).

Launched a control DC servo drive.

Launched an adjustable-speed DC motor with a built-in SCR control unit (DYNA PACK).

Launched a single-axis NC (Digital S Pack NDS-300 Type).

1980s

Constructed the Sakura Office in Sakura-shi, Chiba, to establish a full-scale mass-production factory.

Launched the industry’s first asynchronous induction AC servo system (ACTUS POWER).

1990s

Launched an NC system with 4 independent axes (SUPER MULTICOM).

Launched a servo driver with a built-in single-axis NC controller (NEXSRT).

2000s

Launched a linear servo motor (NLA Series) and a disk servo motor (NMR Series).

Launched a compact, high-performance single-axis servo controller (VC Series).

Changed the name of the disk servo motor to τDISC and began mass production of direct drive motors.

Launched an arc motion linear servo motor (τServo Compass).

Constructed a precision machinery factory within the premises of the Sakura Office.

Developed a high-density linear stage (τLinear Stage).
The product, combining servo control technology with a precision structure, was marketed as a high-density mechanical device.

2010s

Launched a large-torque direct drive motor for general industrial machinery (τiD roll).

Announced “τENGINE” as a development guideline for industrial motors and drive systems designed to address global environmental issues.

Registered the trademark of the ecological, high-performance drive system (τENGINE) that directly drives industrial machinery.

Launched a high-performance servo driver (VPH Series).

Marked the 50th anniversary of the company’s establishment.

Became a member of the CKD Group by forming a business partnership with CKD Corporation.

Completed the new head office building.

Changed the company name to CKD NIKKI DENSO CO., LTD.

Obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification.

2020S

Obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification.

Launched a Z-axis short-stroke linear servo motor ssLinear.
