Also, auto tuning is not enough to adjust the gain, and it is necessary to adjust the gain manually.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-snow-monkey-blocks-information-item smb-information__item\"><div class=\"c-row\"><div class=\"c-row__col c-row__col--1-1 c-row__col--md-1-4\"><div class=\"smb-information__item__label\">NIKKI&#8217;s solution<\/div><\/div><div class=\"c-row__col c-row__col--1-1 c-row__col--md-3-4\"><div class=\"smb-information__item__body is-layout-constrained wp-block-information-item-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p>We added the automatic servo gain adjustment function to the system support tool of the servo driver, making it easy for anyone to adjust the DD motor gain.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">[Problem] When adjusting the servo, the customer cannot find the necessary parameters, because there are so many parameters. It is also difficult to adjust the gain.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, adjusting the servo of a direct drive motor as appropriate for the customer&#8217;s driver required a certain level of expert knowledge. For this reason, the servo was adjusted on the customer&#8217;s premises by our sales personnel or engineers. But some customers prohibit outsiders from entering their premises because of confidential data control, and cases have increased where the customers have to adjust the servo by themselves. The previous auto tuning function did not have sufficient accuracy or might cause resonance depending on the driver in use. This made it difficult for customers to adjust the servo on their own, resulting in a growing need for an automatic adjustment function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">[Proposal\/solution] Add the automatic servo gain adjustment function &#8220;NiEAT&#8221; that makes it easy to set parameters and adjust the gain.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have added the &#8220;NiEAT&#8221; function to the system support tool of the servo driver so that customers can adjust the gain by themselves. The function, provided in a wizard format, allows you to set parameters and adjust the gain with ease. All the customer needs to do is set several values such as the operating direction, positioning amount, target time, settling time, and stop time. The gain adjustment process (inertia estimate, filter setting for resonance suppression, and positioning adjustment) is completed in about five minutes.<br>The &#8220;NiEAT&#8221; function brings another benefit. In the past, when our sales personnel visited for adjustment, they had to spend hours adjusting the gain.
